Kris’s passion for dentistry began more than 40 years ago when she started her career as a Certified Dental Assistant in Iowa. She spent 15 years chairside assisting alongside a dentist in Marion, Iowa, before relocating with her family to the Rochester area in 1999. It was then that she transitioned into a role as an Office Administrator at a local dental practice—and quickly realized she had found her new career path within dentistry.

With more than four decades of experience in the dental field, we didn’t hesitate to snag Kris as Treasurer of Rochester Dental Connection! As she looks toward a well-deserved retirement in the coming years, she brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspective to our group. Her compassion for the dental profession continues to drive her work today, with a focus on building strong systems, supporting those around her, and leaving a positive impact for the next generation of dental professionals.

Outside of the office, Kris loves spending time with family and friends. She and her husband have two grown sons, which leaves plenty of time to spoil their beloved furbaby, Lucy! Kris also has an incredible green thumb—you can often find her tinkering with her houseplants or soaking up the sunshine on her deck while admiring her beautiful landscaping.
